Anyone's eyesight totally tanking

My eyesight was horrible last pregnancy but this time it is even worse!   I can hardly watch tv/ read/ surf the web without getting a headache.  Anyone else having this issue?

Re: Anyone's eyesight totally tanking

  • Mine has definitely been worse. I thought it might be too early for me, but it's the only explanation! I can barely wear my contacts anymore and even with my glasses my eyesight is definitely not great!!

  • What? This is preggo related???

I sit in front of nine computer/television moniters for 8 hours a day and lately the moment I get to work I start getting a creeping headache!

What about driving? I've become absolutely driving retarded lately. I've come close to a few accidents (not totally my fault for the most part). I can't seem to concentrate on the road. Just the other day I backed into a parked car! I've NEVER hit another car before! Maybe I'm just being super spacey ...

  • I am SO glad you posted this!!! My vision is AWFUL all of a sudden. I usually just have to wear glasses driving or used to in class but I have to wear my glasses constantly now to avoid horrible migraines and clearly straining to see. My glasses are barely cutting it. I was trying to decide if I should go get my Rx changed even though I hear it goes back after delivery. I thought I was all alone in this though since everyone I asked never had an issue!!!

  • I have a really hard time driving at night now.  Come to think of it, this was the earliest symptom I had, even before my BFP.

  • My vision is awful, but then again, it has been for years. I totally think it's hormone related and that when I was on the pill, that was causing my problem. It's different every day for me. Sometimes I can see OK, other days one eye is totally off. I can't see with my glasses at all so I rely on my contacts. I usually go in to get an updated Rx in January, but I think I'll have to just wait till after the baby comes to change it. bummer
  • OK..I thought it was me being super sensitive. I have problems driving at night..it seems like everyone who is driving out there is driving with their brights on. It makes me angry! I have an hour commute home in the dark so I can't do anything about it.
