I fvcking hate DH right now, vent

in 2nd Trimester

 

DH left for a football game at 2 for a 330 game, fine.  After the game, I got a text that they are going to Dinosaur BarBQ, i said ok.  It has been three and a half hours since...I texted him, and got no response.  I am pissed.  I had horrible pains in my back and uterus that woke me up last night and he woke up for about 5 minutes then went back to bed.  Didn?t even apologize this morning until I said something.  Hasn?t called or texted to see how I am all day.  So either he?s ignoring my texts, or something bad has happened, neither option is good (it?s almost 10pm here).  If he comes home drunk, I?m gonna lose my mind.

    I feel ya, sister. My DH has p*ss poor timing like that, too. Guy's night always seems to fall on a night I need him the most - like when I came down with the flu and needed him to run to the pharmacy for me and it took an act of congress to track his butt down.

    DH has been gone all day at a football game and is still out. I was supposed to go to said game, but my OB said not to because I am in a fair amount of pain.

     

    DH will probably come home drunk tonight. Thats not the norm for him, but he has friends in town.

     

    I am not in any way upset.

     

    Yes, ignoring texts isn't right, but is it possible he didn't feel his phone vibrate? Try to give him a call and see if that works if you are worried.

    ok thats a different story. Drunk driving would have him sleeping at someone elses' house. I take that VERY seriously.

    Oh I hear you!  I just got 'over' being pissed at DH.  I would be the same way as you though! And really, coming home drunk would be the ultimate kicker, but you know at this point he probably will be coming home that way.  So mentally prepare yourself...then kick some ass :) Keep us posted

    This.  I can't stand it when DH doesn't answer his phone.  My mind always jumps to the worst case scenario, like him getting in a wreck or something like that.  Not cool!

    In cases like that, I would lock my bedroom door and make him sleep on the couch. Then next day..... cold shoulder. He will get that he made an "uh oh" but in all honesty they really have no clue that they have done anything really wrong. What IIIII love the most about situations like this is when you confront them they always have something stupid to say like "why are you always nagging me" or "I told you were I was going but..::insert exuse::"
