Any tips? I feel like B would sleep better if he had his own space. He wakes (not fully; he barely opens his eyes) quite a few times during the night and will go back to sleep easily, but he gets kind of restless. I also feel that he'll nurse less if he's not right against me and therefore will sleep better and deeper.
He tends to wake fairly quickly if I'm not in the bed with him, even during naps. He also wakes up when he's put in his co-sleeper, then needs to be nursed and bounced back to sleep or won't go back to sleep at all.
What can I do? TIA!
Re: Transitioning from our bed to co-sleeper
I would just try putting him down in the co-sleeper when he's in a really deep sleep. You can also try swaddling, putting him down with a pacifier or keeping your hand on his belly when you put him down and leave it there until he settles back to sleep.
Just keep trying things until something works. :-)
