Boston Babies

childcare northshore

I just moved from the North End to Saugus and am looking for any suggestions to daycare facilities for infants in the Saugus, Melrose, Lynn, or Malden area.  I'm due in early January and plan to go back to work in April .... just starting my research on day care and need all the help I can get.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

Re: childcare northshore

  • My husbands company (Teradyne) has a daycare that is open to the public. It is a bright horizons and seems pretty good. It is located in Reading which is a about 15 min from Melrose. The rates are fairly reasonable and you can do a part time day or full time, which I think is great since I am going to work part time. They keep a journal of eating schedule and milestones which I thought was really nice and have a very good child to care provider ratio.

    I hope this helps!

  • We live on the northshore, but work in Boston.  We are using Terri's Little Pumpkins in Medford- which is right near Wellington Station.  Hope this helps!
