this happened last weekend but i forgot to tell you guys, and i must share because this STILL makes me laugh when i think of it: when we did our first IUI last weekend, the DH discovered that after they wash the sperm the fluid that it ends up in is pink. and he was horrified! he said that all of his Y-chromosome sperm were going to die of embarrassment at being colored pink.
oh well, i'd be happy to have a girl.
