Has anyone flown alone with LO and used a woven wrap to carry him/her in the airport? What carry worked best for you? The only carry-on I'll have will be the diaper bag.
I was thinking rucksack but I'm not fantastic at getting her in and out of it by myself in a public place-- I usually use a chair at home to help me. Any suggestions/tips/different carries?
Re: Woven wrap in the airport?
I think this depends on what airport. In KC they didn't make me take ds out or the wrap off when I had my moby on. I just wore him facing in on the front. It was the easiest for me to get him in an out of in a tight space, like on the plane before getting off.
I used the FWCC. It's a bit more cumbersome than a ruck, but my DS always falls asleep while we're walking through the airport. Since he's on my chest, I can let him sleep until they make me take him out instead of having to wake him when I sit down on the plane.
Oh, and I didn't have to take him off when going through security in Salt Lake or Minneapolis.
