Silly Question for Those who use Baby Carriers

When you go to the mall or something like that how do you get your baby into the carrier. I have a moby wrap and dh has a bjorn, i was just curious if you guys wear them in the car and then put LO in it in the parking lot or do you put the whole thing on in the parking lot?! haha I know its stupid but im curious!

I use a Baby Balboa and I put it on in the parking lot and then slide LO in.

If I know I am going to stop at a store, I put the moby on before I leave. Otherwise I try to put it on in the parking lot without getting it on the ground.

I put my moby on at home and then slide him in, but I h ave put it on in the parking lot before.

I put my Moby on before we leave the house most of the time. It's a PITA to do in the parking lot.

I use the Bjorn and I climb in the backseat and put it on, then put LO in it. Works out well.

With the Beco (like the Bijorn) I put her in while sitting in the back of the car. DH does the same with the ring sling.

The Moby I have to still put on in front of a mirror so I have not gone out in it yet- I would put it on at home I guess if I needed to use that carrier out.

i put it on in the parking lot, though soon when it's cold, i'll probably start putting it on before i leave under my coat

I will wear my moby there, then in the parking lot I will get in the backseat and slide her in. If I am using my other carrier (similar to bjorn), I'll put it on once there and then her. It can be tricky getting out of the back seat with baby attached to me ( I have a 2-door).

I put mine on at home so I can just hop out. It takes so much longer getting 2 kids out of the car I take any shortcuts I can find, esp in the cold weather.
