Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

Can I leave him in his crib all day?

Now hear me out before you make your decision!

1) He is in there now, napping. He sounds pretty happy over the monitor. Or well, he sounds pretty asleep over the monitor. Maybe he wouldn't mind a day in the crib!

2) I think I pulled a muscle or something under my belly because I can barely walk. I'm actually not 100% sure I would make it all the way up and down the stairs to go get him.

3) Also I feel nauseous after eating lunch

4) DH says it's ok. He may or may not have been kidding, but I have it in writing because he said it over gchat.

WDYT? I mean I know that technically that would be neglect and all that, but...just this one time?

Also, if someone would like to come over, give me a shoulder rub, play with my hair, and clean my house, that would be greatly appreciated.

  • Are you planning to pee your pants all day, too? If you can get up to go to the bathroom, you can get up to get your LO out of bed.
  • Loading the player...
  • maybe you could just play in his room?

Hmm, excellent point. Although the bathroom is downstairs and his room is not.

    LOL

I would not leave him in there "all day" maybe for a little bit. Can you make  yourself a comfy area to relax at in his room? That way you can still talk, read, and be with him but still relax.

Yes, of course I am kidding! I need to come up with a "kidding!" disclaimer apparently.

Hmm, could be labor...but it has been going on since last night. I guess I'll know one way or the other eventually :)

  • You need to move to the southside. ?I'd take Leo for the day and let you rest (sorry, I'd rather do that than play with your hair. ?I'm sure it's really pretty hair, but hair grosses me out.) ?

    I hope it's labor!!?
