BBQ Thanksgiving Turkey any real life tips?

I hear its easy, my plan is to try it this year. Any tips from your Turkey BBQ experience?

    you have a smoker? thats really awesome. our neighbors have a smoker next door, I can't wait to use it. They smoked a 20lb turkey last week and said it was amazing.

    We are going to put ours on a regular gas grill. My coworker tried it last year, i will get some advice from him.

    Yea, my husband is a super BBQer.  We have two smokers and two BBQs and he wants to get one more.
