Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

Do all pregnancies after the first go so quickly?

I still remember most of you girls announcing your BFP and now the pregnancies are like half over with (including my own).

Any other pregnant nesties thinking this time is flying by?

Re: Do all pregnancies after the first go so quickly?

  • My first pregnancy flew by so I am sure if I get pregnant again it will fly by too.

  • Yes and it gets faster/worse with each PG.  I honestly most days can't even remember how many weeks I am and the fact that DD#2 came 7 weeks from this Sunday is totally freaking me out.  If nothing else, you just don't have the time to think about and focus on the PG/this baby like you did with your first.  You're too busy chasing your first around.
  • My first one went soooooo sloooooow and this time it's flying!  So, yes I agree with you!

  • I think it gets faster with each pregnancy.  I swear I *just* got a BFP and now I'm 15 days from my due date.  Yikes!

  • Hmmmm... still too early to tell for me.  It seems to be dragging so far, but I think after the 1st u/s if we see a good HB, then I'll be able to relax.

  • the first pregnancy you actually sit and read pregnancy books and relax. with this pregnancy there is zero time to read since you are chasing a toddler around. it has flown by. i am always forgeting how far along i am. it's going to be here before i know it!
