I was wondering if when you guys go to the Leavenworth Festival you stay up there? How early in the month do you go? We are going for the first time this year, I am really excited, and hoping there is snow.

Re: **babyAustin**
We don't stay. We always say that we want to, but last year, we checked in August and it was already booked solid. This year, we cannot afford to stay. That being said, we always have kind of a hard time driving back at night. Staying would be ideal, really.
We like to go as early in the season as possible because of the weather in the pass. James's car is AWD and he has snow tires, but last year Stevens Pass was BAD when we went the weekend before Christmas. This year, we are going on the 5th. I am excited as well. James talked about skipping it since we aren't doing super great financially this year, but I pouted about how it's a tradition, so we are going.
Be sure to bring a sled for Mason, but be careful of the big kids, too. Tillman got plowed into last year on the sledding hill.
TTC #2 for a million years: SA normal, CD 23 bloodwork shows nothing amiss, ovulation detected. Next step: ? maybe CD3 bloodwork to check eggs? All out of pocket, so limited IF tests/treatments.
Last year we were supposed to go the Sunday before Christmas with my family, but Mason had phemonia so we had to cancel. This year we are doing Sunday the 6th, and staying overnight. I think since they added Sundays to the festival its easier for us, and hopefully not as busy.
Good tip on the sled! Too bad we will miss eachother by a day, lol.
I think you will be glad you are staying over. I hope you have fun.
Yep, too bad we'll miss each other. We could have shoved the boys down the sledding hill together!
Oh, another thing that's cool about the sled. If there is enough snow, you can just pull Mason through town on the sled. Tillman loved that, especially when he started to get tired of walking around so much.
I have an entry in my blog from last December about our time there. I can't link it from work, though.

Looks fun, we will have to check in with eachother after that weekend and see how everything was.
