    I knew a man who named his daughter Shitaka...and if you asked him to spell it he would say S-H-I-T.....A-K-A

    Especially a name like that! That's an awful lot to live up to....

    There's plenty of days (especially now) that I look like crap or have bags under my eyes or limp hair. I certainly don't look or feel "beautyful"

    Female (pronounced Fe-ma-li). A friend of a friend is a teacher and one of the girls has this name. Why would you do this to your child?

    I lived with a girl named Patience... it was definitely different, but she really was patient and quite sweet.  It suited her... and it's not too presumptuous, like Beautyful.  Plus, her parents can spell.

    I'm hoping this is the same one I know!  If there were more than 1 in the world that would be horrid!  The story that goes with this is that the parents were illiterate and thought the hospital named their children... Her brother is Male (Mal-ee).   But my fav. name of a student: Ikea Speshal.  Good thing she was bright
