I am about to order one and I am torn between getting black and the natural (off-white) color...
My concern about black is that it may look faded after many washings or show milk spots in between washings.
My concern with off-white is that it may not be as versatile as black and the black might make me feel a little more "dressed up".
Thoughts?
Re: What color is your Moby Wrap (or similar carrier)?
i have a black one
ive washed it a lot and i havent noticed any fading. and as for the spit up i just wipe it off with a baby wipe in between washing and you cant see any spots

Mine is teal. I wish now that I'd gotten a chocolate brown one (if that exists)
Partly because people often assume that with that color, DD is a boy. It's annoying. I guess brown wouldn't alleviate that at all, but I like brown and wear a lot of brown
Mine's a chocolate brown...so DH would use it also. Will he?? Nooooooo!
IMO- I'd rather have a faded black over time, than a possibly stained & dingy off-white. I'm with you on the more "dressy" look of the black, too.
Ha! Everyone thinks my DD is a boy in the brown!
sorry to get off topic but people mentioning the brown moby reminded me of this lady i saw on halloween. she was dressed as a kangaroo and had her baby in the brown moby as her joey. SOOO CUUUTE!
Mine is black and even though I dont notice any fading, milk and everything else shows up.
Once she drools or spits up, it needs to be washed off

We have black. We have washed it many times and not had a problem with fading. I like the black because DH or I can wear it fine, and I have worn it with a dress to a wedding and felt "dressed up" and not all covered with contraptions.
Speaking of being a Jedi, when DH puts on the Moby he says he is putting on his "samurai shirt."
Mine is charcoal-ish and has a multi-coloured striped pouch thing on the front/middle.
I love the colour because it goes with everything. The pocket is very casual but I am fine with that. I'm wearing yoga pants or jeans every day right now and I don't see myself using it past 3 or 4 months (DS is gaining weight like a mad man!).
