anyone ever been to the Oprah show?

All the talk on the shows this morning is about how she is ending her show.  Living in Chicago I always wanted to go to a taping but never have.  Now not sure if I ever will.

Has anyone ever been?

    No, but I have always wanted to! I have a friend from college that was on one of her "Favorite Things" shows two years ago---lucky!!!

    I haven't read the news yet about Oprah, but my dh was telling me about it last night... off to read the Tribune to get the details!

    I wish I could go to her favorite things show!  I heard one year she had all teachers in the audience.  I missed my chance!!!

    NOPE but I have ALWAYS wanted to go..I guess my time is running out now that she is quitting her show in September...

    My mom, sister and I must have tried sooo many times in the past 10 years! We've always wanted to go - we were so willing to fly out there for the day just to be on it! I'm sad now too, looks like that will never happen :(

    I went once about six years ago. It was a lot of fun and I got a bunch of free Colin Cowie home decor stuff :)
