Ladies...HELP!!
Our last name is Weiner (pronounced Why-ner, not Weener!) and we are having a baby boy in 11 weeks!! We need a name and middle name that will not get him made fun of all the time...aka no William even though I love the name (Willy Weiner... :-)
Thoughts so far are:
Taking any/all suggestions!!!!
Thanks!

Of your list, I think Preston is the best match. I think traditional, masculine names are the way to go. I like:
Matthew Weiner
Nathaniel Weiner
Jacob Weiner
Thomas Weiner
Joseph Weiner
Samuel Weiner
Harrison Weiner
Gavin Weiner
Declan Weiner
Colton Weiner
Nicholas Weiner
Anthony Weiner

I was thinking that too.
Oh, that's hard. I agree Chase is out but I think Jack would be bad, too. Think about it...
I would avoid any name that can potentially be a verb.
Something nice and traditional like Matthew, Michael, Charles--like other posters have suggested.
At least it's not really pronounced that way!
Haha, this is cracking me up! I know I shouldn't be laughing bc this is my little guy's NAME we are talking about, but I guess sometimes all you can do is laugh...
I totally hear you about Chase, Jack, and Press being potential verbs...ahhhh!!!!!
DON'T name him Jack. Jack Weiner?
I agree with pp-Matthew, Michael, James-something traditional that can't be shortened to a verb would be best.
Chase Weiner. Think about that. And then cross it off the list. (regardless of the pronunciation, it looks funny in writing)
I like Dylan best.
Chase could be bad.... I foresee a few gay jokes about chasing weiners....
Just don't name him Big (or Little, for that matter) and you'll be fine.
Kids are creative I would not go with Jack because some kids may put off after that and next to Weiner it may be too easy to make fun of. Also Dylan is nice, but my friend has a son named Dylan and would always get mad because people would call him Dill, like dill doe and he would freak out at us. So I guess dill doe Weiner might not have a nice ring to it.
But I love Nicholas or Mathew or Joseph. GL this is a tough one my dear!
Edit: Oops let me make a correction. We were not calling my friends son a dill doe. We would call him Dill for short just because it sounded cute and my friend thought it sounded too much like dill doe and didn't want other kids to pick up on that. LOL.

I agree. Names like Matthew (Matt) and Michael (Mike) are hard to make fun of. Keep it classic and traditional and you'll be fine.
A lot of great suggestions have been made. I thought I'd add a couple
Everett
Gerrit
I think to avoid being made fun of, I would avoid Jack Weiner and Chase Weiner.
I like those names, just not with your last name.
Of your options, I would go with Dylan. The rest sound funny, even Preston I'm afraid.
I think the first name should be a simple traditional name that does not sound like any kind of verb or noun.
I feel your pain, because we have a last name that's a "thing" word too, although not as tease-able as Weiner.
This post made me laugh really hard! My DH and I had a lot of laughs trying to name our DS- we have a similar last name.
I know these are not on your list, but what about:
Nate
Max- my favorite- it's my son's name
Sam
Henry
Good luck!
Jack Weiner would be too easy to make fun of also, no offense meant at all!! I just think most people will pronounce the last name Wee-ner until corrected, so...you know...
Love Dylan and Preston!!
