Black Friday Questions (And a "Poll")

Can you combine coupons with Black Friday sales, usually? TIA!

Now for the poll...

Do you usually go Black Friday shopping? Are you going this year? Do you go mainly for one or two good deals or do you try to get all of your shopping done?

If you've seen any of the 'leaked' Black Friday ads already, what things do you plan on getting?

I won't be going. We have a Walmart and Kmart in our town. That's about it for *big* stores. If I lived in an urban area I'd love to go at least once =D Targets ad sounded good, especially the super-cheap flat screen for 249 I think.

As for coupons - you shoul dbe able to combine - I know I did in previous years at stores such as RA and WAG.

You should be able to use coupons.

When I worked for Target most people would save their 10% off coupons that they earned with their Target REDcards and use them on Black Friday for extra savings. Just another tip for people who might use that CC.

I have honestly never been before! I am going this time though. I'm gonna regret that on Friday at 4 am, but it will be worth it. I'm gonna get a Starbucks and just have fun at Target.

I will be getting a ton of stuff done there. Some of what I can remember:

24 cans of Playdoh for $6.99

$25 Itunes cards for $20 (knock a lot of people off the list there!)

$3 t-shirts and $5 pjs for all the kids on my list

$27 WII games for DH

10 pack of frames for $12 (grandparent gifts)

You get a $10 giftcard with a purchase of $100

I can't wait!!!

We did early BF shopping once and will never do it again. It was a waste of time. I'll do Cyber Monday shopping though, and will go out late Black Friday to see if there are still decent deals left once the crowds die down.

I wouldn't go near a mall or shopping center on Black Friday, even if they were giving crap away. No thank you.

I may shop online, but there really isn't anything I have my eye on except my laptop. DH was going to stand in line for it, but I've seen the ad, no deals:( Damn thing hasn't even gone on sale at all, but the others have.

I don't normally go Black Friday shopping, but I am going this year. I have $30 in ToysRUs gift cards from that Hasbro deal they just did and am going to finish getting DS's stuff. I am going to get all of DH's stuff that day as well. I am going to go to ToysRUs, Target and Walmart. AND THEN my mom, sister and I are going to go to a Christmas Bazaar here in town. I have worked many Black Fridays (which is why I always refer to the day as blitz day), but have never shopped one. I am excited!

I've never shopped one either and probably won't go this year. I do like to head out in the afternoon and see what's going on but the idea of being trampled just doesn't do it for me.

The only confirmation I've gotten is from Kohl's. I have a 15% off coupon that has no expiration date and they will allow me to use it on Black Friday. I'm guessing that as long as the coupon has not expired and there are no specific limitations listed at the store site or on the coupon, they should take it. It can't hurt to try!

We shop BF every year, it's kind of a bonding experience between DH and I. Smile This year, we are gonig to hit Kohl's, WalMart, and Big Lots. I try to get all my shopping done on BF just because the deals really can't be beat, and I like to be done on the early side. FWIW, I get all of my decor and wrapping supplies at Big Lots for SUPER cheap, and their deals rock.
