Temp rise, but BFN

This is my first cycle charting BBT (6th TTC), so naturally I was excited this morning when I woke up to a nice little temp spike a day before I expect my period. Unfortunately, the excitement turned into disappointment when I rushed into the bathroom, POAS, and got a BFN.

So, anyway, just looking for a little reassurance! The temp spike COULD be a good sign, right? Could 12 dpo still be a little too early? Any chart-stalkers around...please feel free to check out my chart. I know you can only offer opinions, but TIA!
