Is it William misspelled or pronounced Will-em? Either way, I'd say no.

It looks like a misspelled or mispronounced "William"

ETA: oh, I didn't know it was Dutch. I'm usually all for different versions of names, but I'd be worried about people misunderstanding it.

I like it. I think of Willem DeFoe. I would worry though that he would constantly be correcting people.

Willem is a family name on DH's side (they are Dutch). Anyway, I don't really like it.

Our son's name is Austin Willem. Willem is my dad's name and he is from Holland. Everyone thinks it is William, that's why we used it for a middle name instead of a first name. Gets 2 thumbs up from me

I don't like it, I think it sounds like you're trying too hard. I feel like people are going to go "what" and think you're trying to say William.

Honestly, I think that people will be trying to call him William his whole life.. It just sorta looks like someone tried to come up with a creative way of spelling William (even though that's not how you'll pronounce it)..
