progestrone and sex?

in 1st Trimester
I am currently using the progestrone supp. and DH and I are a little hestitant to have sex while on them. I have been reading and can not come up with any info. if sex is okay while on the progestrone supp. Anyone else using them and is it okay? I'd hate to wait 12 weeks LOL

    I asked this same question last week but my question was about vaginal capsules (filled with powder) not a suppositories. I was told sex is ok. It takes 15-20 minutes for the progesterone to absorb but ideally you should use it after sex.

    I would assume that it would be the same for suppositories but I am not sure. Hopefully more people reply.

    I was also warned that you should use lube because the progesterone makes you raw and the next day it may feel like a cheese grater was in there :X

    My dr told me it's safe but I haven't had sex yet while taking them!!!
