Toddlers: 24 Months+

Favorite DVD's for toddlers?

Need some ideas for Christmas...rather clueless what's good.

 Do your children  have favorites?

Why ask why, when you know you're going to get a smart-ass answer

Re: Favorite DVD's for toddlers?

  • DD received some hand-me-downs fr/ my little half-bro, so she's been totally into Thomas the Tank Engine, Dora/Diego, Dragon Tales. Wouldn't have been my first pics, but she loves them.

  • My daughter currently loves:

Old School Sesame Street (the stuff we grew up with, pre-Elmo)

    Elmo's Potty Time

Imagination Movers (Disney) - I love this show, too!!  It's probably aimed at kids who are 3+ but it's colourful and full of music/movement and I like the lessons it teaches kids.  DD adores this show.

  • I think I am going to get the LeapFrog Letter Factory DVD for DS's stocking this year.

  • My son is obsessed with Thomas the train DVD's.  I don't get it but he loves them.  I got him the leap frog letter factory because my friend's son loves them but ds didn't like it.  Anything Sesame street he loves too.
3 IUI's and 2 IVF's later- Brady arrived. Born at 36 weeks after PUPPS and pre-e/HELLP.
IUI- BFN IVF #1 -BFP! Allie is our 2nd IVF baby. Born at 36 1/2 weeks after pre-e again

  • I second the Leapfrog Letter Factory. It's a great dvd that helps teach phonics. I think all the leapfrog dvds are pretty good.

My dd lately has been into little einsteins.

  • Finding Nemo is my son's absolute favorite.  He only really watches it in the car on long drives, but requests it practically every time we get in :)
