We are waiting until after my first dr. appt to tell some close friends, we already told my parents. Only because I have been RIDICULOUSLY morning sick to the point I couldn't get out of bed for the past 3 days so my mom suspected it and had to come help with the baby. We are telling his parents on Christmas.

I think its a personal choice, do what you and DH feel right doing. Essentially, I feel like is something were to happen, the people I am telling are people that would be there for me.

Week 6. I was already starting to bloat up & there wasn't much of a way to hide it for too much longer after that (I was in maternity jeans by week 7 because I poofed up so fast this time).

Well DH announce right after first ultrasound at 6 weeks I was wanting to wait alittle while longer like closer to 10-12 weeks but he couldn't hold in the excitment. I wanted to wait just to make sure everything seemed to go ok and no early problems. But again DH was just to excited.

2nd tri. ?I'm not big on announcing any earlier since I had a missed m/c at 11 weeks the first time I was pregnant and it SUCKED having to untell everyone we'd told after our u/s looked good.

We've told a few people already (relatives and close friends), but will wait until after the 1st u/s (9 weeks) to tell everyone else.

We had to spill right away. I had an ectopic & m/c prior to DD so I have to have blood draws every 48 hours for a week & a half and then early u/s and a weekly dr.'s visit the 1st 3 weeks after I get my bfp, so we told my mom & MIL incase I would need someone to watch DD while I was at an appointment.

5 weeks for family and a few friends that knew I was going to test. Every one else at 9.5 weeks after the u/s.

For both pregnancies we've told immediate family right away, and everyone else at 8 weeks.

around 12 weeks but a few people new earlier... would have gone public around 8 weeks after seeing hb but had some bleeding issues so wanted to be sure everything was good first.

13/14-ish weeks.? Wanted to wait til after 2nd tri and mom was coming in town, wanted to tell her in person.? NO one suspected because I lost so much weight in 1st Tri, everyone thought baby weight from #1 was coming off finally! LOL.? Although mom did guess b/c I was a little queasy when i was home around week 8/9, I deflected and she didn't think about it again. Tee hee.? Glad we waited.

Initially we were going to wait until the 1st tri was over but then we ended up having a super early u/s (5w) due to bleeding and found out I was pg with twins (I'm not anymore). We decided we'd need the emotional support right away! We kept it to family and close friends until about 11wks and then we told everyone else.
