    I think the opposite. I think of Hailey as being sort outdated (I knew a lot of Haileys when I was in elementary school) and Adelyn sounds really popular (like Addison, Ashlyn, and the rest of those names + lyn)

    But of the two, I prefer Adelyn because it reminds me of one of my favorite names, Adele.

    i strongly dislike any name remotely similar to adelyn/adeline, so hailey wins by default.

    I agree. In my elementary class, there were three Haileys, one Kailey and a Bailey. It was kind of the girl Aiden at that time.

    I still think Adelyn is cute but think it will become very popular, if not too popular already. It's very similar to Madeline and I think the nn Addie/Addy is super close to Maddie/Maddy (also too popular for my liking).

    I definitely prefer Hailey Kate, and I think it sounds cute to call her by both names.

    My dad's middle name is Haley, so I hope to use it one day.

    I picked Hailey Kate because I like it better, but my DHs little cousin is Addison Grace and they call her Addie Grace all the time. You could use Addy Kate if you wanted to... I don't like it as well as Hailey Kate, but it's just a suggestion :)
