Name too long?

Okay, so my man wants our baby boy to be named Sebastian James Logan LaRose. I love the name but i'm stuck on if it's too long or not. I was trying to convince him to maybe take out one of the middle names but to not have them both clearly upsets him.

Anyone else find this too long and/or anyone else have a long name picked out?

What are the chances he'll go by his entire name? I always go by my first name, just like majority of other people. I think you guys chose a cute name!

IMO, I think it's a little too long, but that's just my taste! I would take out one of the middle names (Sebastian Logan sounds great to me!)

I myself have 2 middle names, one of them being Elizabeth which is pretty long in itself. I loved being unique in that way. The only times it ever causes me problems is when credit card companies only use one of my middle names on my cards, or when I was in school, there was only one bubble to fill in for the middle name initial!

Well considering I have a brother named Joshua David Reed Kulhanek, I would say no, but I think its just because my brother has such a long name too. If you like the name then go for it...its not like everyone will be calling him by his full name all the time anyway ya know??

I like Sebastian James...but it might not be worth "the man" getting fussy about. There might be a better battle down the road...

Whoa! I agree that it's too long. Sounds nice but one name too many. Maybe you should have him around when people ask what names you're thinking of so he can see some reactions...

One of my ex boyfriend has 2 middle names and he used the first one only when filling out forms that required his middle name.

My maiden name was 26 characters long with only one middle name. So NO I don't think this name is too long.

It's not too long. My dd's has two middle names. Her full name is 8 letters, 6 letters, 5 letters, 6 letters. But her name is beautiful and meaningful and she doesn't mind it at all.

I'm not a big fan of long names, but what you have is really cute. In all honesty, how often does someone use their middle name(s)? Twice? Graduation & Marriage. I think it would be fine.

I know two people with two middle names and it seems fine for them. For the girl I know with two middle names it worked out great beause she absolutely hates her first name so when deciding to go by something else having the two middle names gave her more choices.

I wouldn't worry about the length. My brothers name is Joshua John Gilbert G........ its an 8 letter last name. He hasn't had any problems with it. Its not really a big deal. If you like, go for it!

My brother has 2 middle names. When asked to give his middle name on paper he always just uses the initials. It is Adam Edwin David and he'll put Adam E.D. (last name)
