Not only do I consider it very trendy, but it's been taken over as a girl name. ?I know, I know, it's STILL a boy's name, but you'd really have to be okay with your son sharing his name with multiple female classmates. ?I can't think of any guy who would appreciate that.

My only concern with using Peyton is that there are so many little girls named Peyton as well. I think if I was naming a little boy, I would try to pick something that hasn't been taken over by girls... that's just my honest opinion.
I love the name and in fact I have a neice named Peyton Elizabeth I just wouldn't want my son to be teased for having a "girl" name. I know, it's not technically a girl name, but that's just what I would consider before using it.
I think Peyton is trendy for girl's. You really don't see many boys with the name, so I wouldn't consider it "trendy" for a boy. I agree with the other posters otherwise though...if you don't mind him having the same name as multiple girls, then go for it.

I was worried about this too. Fail.
I agree.
I love the name Peyton... I would use it for a girl I think, but DH is on the fence about it so far.

I LOVE the name Peyton, but only for a girl. I definitely think it is gender neutral at his point but I personally would only consider it for a girl.

Me too. I've actually only heard is as a girl name lately and don't think I'd want my son to have the same name as five other girls in his class.
Yes
(but I think it's more trendy to use for a girl than for a boy. just consider that he may have girls in his class with the same name ...)
