why do their commercials have to be so fvcking sad?
every time I see them, with the sad music and horrible images I tear up and start texting DH telling him we need to go to our local shelter and save more!

I change the channel because I look at those puppies eyes and then my dog ALWAYS looks at me with his sad eyes when he sees the dogs on tv. I can't take it.

I would like to say that I only cried when I saw them while pregnant, but nope...I have always cried at those commercials. Just makes me appreciate my rescues even more.

I told my DH the other day that I wouldn't get mad at him if he brought home another dog. There is a rottweiler at a humane society that he drives past when he has to do deliveries for work. We have a special place in our heart for rotties because our first dog was a rottie.

I have to change the channel when they come on. I just can't take those images. It makes me way too sad.

I have to mute it and leave the room. I am already an avid animal supporter and already have 2 adopted pups! What sucks is that these commercials seem like they only really work on us that are already doing...preaching to the choir so to speak.
