With DD#! I didn't. I thought is was a bit personal. With DD#2 and DS#3 (yes I registered but not for shower purposes) I definitely did. They are more necessary than half the "stuff" you think you need for baby.
We are not but did put the breast pump on the register. We doubt anyone's going to buy is the $350 breast bump so we just put it on there to get the 10% discount.
We registered for a breast pump, but not breast pads. DH and I can get those. And, not so much Tylenol as LOTS Desitin for diaper rash. I know a lot of ladies who always puts lots of that on their registries. We also put lotions, powders, those things you'll go through like crazy. Even diapers.

No, I skipped that stuff. Who is going to want to buy medicine as a baby shower gift??
Lots of other moms.....one of my favorite gifts to give a basket full of necessities that new moms don't always realize they need up front (mylicon, tylenol, nipple cream, aquaphor lotion, book "happiest baby on the block" which saved my life, etc...and I throw in a cute monogramed blanket or something)

That is what I was thinking, along the lines of a gift basket. Thank you everyone for your input!!
Re: Registering for medicine/nursing supplies?
Yeah, I am. I debated this, too. Infact I bought myself a tube of Lanisoh so that I could delete "nipple cream" from my public registry. LOL
For the meds, I just registered for a little kit that has Tylenol, Mylicon and a couple other things in it.
