1st Trimester

Good Morning!

So I have a couple questions... First of all, if I find a face wash that is organic is that safe? I am breaking out and I work in a middle school so all my students are pointing out everytime I get a new zit (grr!)  They of course don't know I am pregnant and have hinted at me looking like I am gaining weight... what sweet students I have!

Second, does anyone else have m/s at night?  I feel fine until after school and then it is awful until I go to bed!

Third, this thing is telling me I am 6 wks.  Is that even possible if I know the exact conception date was Oct. 30th?  I know that you get 2 wks before conception... but that would make me 5 wks correct?

Thanks for any info :)

Re: Good Morning!

  • I would definitely say that an organic facewash is fine. I am just using a more sensitive facewash than usual with less acid.

I am ONLY sick at night! As soon as I eat dinner (I eat around 5:30 or 6:00) I feel terrible until I go to bed. Sorry you are miserable and that the kids are being mean! Little snots!

And 3rd, you'll find out for sure when you go to the Doctor. Maybe this ticker is using the wrong cycle length?

  • I use a face wash for sensitive skin.  It doesn't work as well as my old face wash, but it's better than nothing.

I usually started feeling sick around 2 or 3, I haven't gotten m/s at all during the morning.  I hope you start feeling better soon.

It's very difficult to know the exact date of conception because even if you only had sex on a certain day, that doesn't mean conception happened right away.  There are a lot of factors which contribute to it and I believe on here it goes by a 28 day cycle so it won't be exact.  But, when you have your first doc. appointment, they'll measure how far along you really are.

  • I posted earlier about face wash for acne.  It's called Aubrey Organics at Whole Foods.  I've also been told Nordstrom's has an excellent organic line too at one of the make-up places there.  Aubrey doesn't have any sacylic acid or benzol peroxide in it (which my dr told me to avoid). It uses witch hazel, cucumber and orange products that are supposed to help with acne and inflamation.  Those are safe to use while pregnant.
