This is a list of women who are dealing with PCOS. Anyone can join in, so let me know if you want to be on this list! We can keep track of everyone?s cycle, offer advice, and support for each other. We check in every Tuesday and Thursday, and the check-ins can always be found in the PCOSbio.
Good luck and lots of sticky baby dust to everyone!

Let us know how you are doing. If you have any questions for the group to answer, feel free to ask.
QOTD: What is the greatest lesson Infertility (especially with PCOS) has taught you?
Re: ~*~*~ PCOS Check-In ~*~*~ SAIFW
Update: CD3 for me. Cramping like a mo fo and trying to decide if I need to call the doctor. It's not getting better and tylenol isn't working. Other than that, it's the waiting game. Still haven't heard back from my repeat draw for my high androgens, but I'm sure it will be the same and I'm hoping she'll go ahead and put me on Met.
QOTD: I think the greatest lesson is patience. There's a lot of waiting that goes on. Another thing is to take care of myself, which (according to research) I wouldn't be here if I had been eating right and exercising in the first place.
SAIF Always Welcome
Diagnosed with PCOS: 10/03, On BCP to "treat" until: 7/09
Provera to end Cycles 1-9 (anovulatory)
Cycle #4 & 5: Clomid 50 mg FAIL
RE Visit: 2000 mg Metformin
Cycle 6:Forced Break, looking for androgen secreting tumor
Cycle 7:Clomid CD 3-10, 12-17 FAIL
Cycle 8: Clomid CD 3-10, Bravelle CD 12-24 Hyperstimmed
New RE: Put on Byetta, lost 23 lbs

Cycle 10: Femara CD 3-7, IUI CD 17 BFP on 2/14/11, m/c 3/7/11
I am still waiting to O this cycle. I don't think that it's going to happen.
QOTD: IF has taught me patience, I suppose.
TTC since April 09
For this child I prayed, and the LORD has given me my petition which I asked of him.

DX PCOS
Success with #1 after Femara + Trigger + IUI
This is cd3 for me also. I just came back from my baseline ultrasound and everything looks good. I'll be starting on Clomid tonight and injections begin again on Monday night. We'll be doing IUI # 3 this cycle.
QOTD: I have learned that life is not about my timing, but God's timing. This actually gives me hope that one day it will be my time!
I am still in the 2ww, 7dpo.
QOTD: I have learned to take better care of myself.
Update: Still on BCP...one week down, two to go.
QOTD: That I really don't have control over very much in this world. And I hate that but I'm learning to deal..
TI, IUIs, IVF = c/ps and BFNs
Update: We have our education and some testing on Tuesday.
QOTD: Well it's definitely taught be patience above everything else. Although we have been through a lot , I feel we have been very fortunate so far with some of the blessing we have received such as donated medications.
Provera day 4 today. In about a week AF should be here. I'm already crampy so I'll probably start spotting soon
QOTD: Patience. And trying to stay positive as much as possible.

What is the greatest lesson Infertility (especially with PCOS) has taught you? Hmm. That I have an amazing husband and family. They have been so supportive, more than I ever thought possible!
I had my first appointment with a new RE office on Tuesday. I liked them a lot. They are a little pricier, but all that matters is that we get results. I have another appointment on dec 1st. Tonight is my first acu appointment. I am really (!!) excited about it. I've been wanting to do this for about a year now but due to cost and being unemployed for an extended period, it wasn't feasible.
QOTD: I guess it has forced me to try to come to grips with the fact that I can't control everything. I'm working on it, but some days, I just can't take it. Patience is something else that goes along with it. I think the best part about IF is that I have learned about a whole other "world" and issues that people face trying to have a family. It really wasn't on my radar before. I thought it would be easy to have a baby, so I suppose an even great amount of compassion that before, has been the best lesson.
Currently pg with our 1st after 6.5 yrs of IF (thank you IVF)

***My posts are always SAIFW**
Update: I'm testing tomorrow but I don't think I'll get a bfp - I have zero symptoms other than sore bb's but I always get that before af. Since this was our last try with just using clomid we will be making an appt. with our FS and going over what our next steps are.
QOTD: My greatest lesson learned is how much love and support I have needed to accept through my whole IF process. I tend to just want to deal with things on my own and 'get through' issues. However IF is so out of my control and the anger I have felt over lossing control in this area of my life has been great. My husband has given me extra support and love days when I didn't even know how badly I needed it. I have learned that it's OK to be the person to lean on someone rather than to be the person who is leaned on. My greatest blessing in my life has been my husband and I'm truely greatful for him.
Patience, and the fact that I have married the best man on Earth.
Well, I am 3dpo, so I get to start my HCG shots tonight.
qotd: I have learned that I don't have any control over what is going on and learn to accept that. I don't have the patience that I thought I have.
*PCOS bio* *Cold Hands, Warm Heart*
- I'm on my 2nd round of chlomid. I'm up to 100 mg. Hoping for a BFP this month
-The greatest thing I've learned from Infertility is that not everyone is the same. The way they get pg isn't the same, when they are pg it's not the same, and every baby/child is not the same. Life isn't black and white. This has been the biggest hurdle in my life and I hope over come it, very soon.
