24/7 with no thoughts of your kid being a punk for wanting to be on your boob every 45 minutes, or you never go "OMG, WTF" when your kid shiits in a fresh diaper 2 seconds after you put it on, or how you might hand him to Osama himself just to get another hour of sleep...

    I just tell my calm one to quiet his cranky brother so I can pour myself another cup of coffee.

    They may not be lying though. They may just be in denial that it isn't all P&R.

    I think even Michelle Duggar is a lying liar.  There are moments when it sucks, pure and simple, and even when they get older, there are new ways that they find to make you want to run away to Cabo, screaming and pulling out your hair all the way.

    And you're right...being a mommy is the toughest job around.  My job as an RN makes this look like a cakewalk :-)

    No joke, it is hard - way harder than I thought.  It also is the craziest emotional roller coaster I have ever been on.  Just when I am convinced that he is the biggest jerk on the planet he will flash me one of those gummy smiles and I forgive (for a minute).

    Mmmmm. Coffee. I thought of TB when I was crying at 4am because DS wouldn't sleep. At least there are tons of other moms who are sleep deprived and crabby just like me.

    Whenever I'm not 100% thrilled about motherhood I call my baby a jerk and it makes me feel better about being a mom.

    HA HA! Well I don't plan on 18,oh wait! 19 kids, so I'm hoping it will all pass maybe no more than 2 or 3 times over Wink However even if this phase passes, there's always the next one! Oh and by the way, I am 100% thrilled, about 65% of the time (maybe a little more, maybe less, who knows, depends on LO's disposition)...ha ha!

    im no duggar, but i am 100% satisfied with motherhood.  and my baby.

    despite the fact that my toddler drives me insane, definitely satisfied.  i absolutely adore the newborn stage.  ive been nursing ari atleast 30 minutes out of every hour during the day since he was born and i don't have a problem with it.  i dont mind my sleep being interrupted by a rooting, poopin' babe.  changing 543543 diapers a day is just part of what i signed up for.  being a walking, talking pacifier is my job, as a momma.

    thankfully, ive been lucky and gotten two easy babies in a row.  ;)

    So far I am 100% thrilled with motherhood and my baby, and I swear, I'm not lying. The whole experience thus far has been awesome. I know challenges are ahead, but I feel like whenever I arrive at each speedbump, there is the grace that I need to be able to handle it.
