I am a mean mom
Ryan is burning up but he won't take the medicine to help. So I told him no cartoons until he takes it. I told him that once he takes it he can have Scooby Doo...until then he can close his eyes and rest.

"Well, if you won't take your meds, we'll just have to march you outside, strip you down, and hose you off to get that temperature down."

I was mean too and took Ds's milk and books away in order to pursuade him to eat some dinner. He would rather read and drink.

oh poor kiddo. any chance of sneaking it in when he's sleeping? we used to do that to bruce when he was really little but i'm guessing it would be a LOT harder on an older child...
