I just want to stomp my feet and yell "It's all about me!"

My in laws are being pushy and persistent about being here the second I go into labor (ummm they live 1500 miles away). I wish I could tell them what I really feel, which is " I don't want you here for a month AFTER the baby is born"

Damn, but I have to be an adult and think about other people. I guess we will have to find a way to meet in the middle. Ugh.

    Just explain to them that due to baby being born in the height of cold/flu season, you'd rather they wait to visit until the spring after he's had a chance to build up his immune system.  And it'll be more fun for them, as he'll be awake more than a couple of hours a day and they an enjoy the visit more :)
