That is an automatic expulsion here.
I don't understand how anyone can think that is okay. Apparently it wasn't just a bad cite either...he actually took a paper a friend who had graduated 5 years ago wrote and resubmitted.
Unfortunately for him my school keeps all papers in a searchable computer system for 10 years.

What an idiot.
Even my delinquent high school students know you can get kicked out of college for plagerism.
Now, some of them don't exactly know what plagerism is but we're working on that.
