Trapped under a bus

A Strains Motorcoach Tours bus has crashed and is on its side in the westbound lane of I-90, about 2 miles west of Austin in Freeborn County.

There are reports of 22 injured and people trapped under the bus. Six medical helicopters are en route, as well as a number of ambulances.

At least six emergency agenices have responded. Traffic along I-90 is backed up in both directions for more than one mile.

A Mayo Clinic helicopter left the scene at 3:41 p.m.

The bus was reported en route to Diamond Jo Casino in Iowa.

I work at a hospital where we are getting all those patients. It was a bus of elderly people.
