At about 10 months. Her first word(s) were uh-oh. She would say it anytime she would throw something over her highchair or crib. We now have about 8 words that she knows in context and are understandable:
Madi started saying buh-yee (bunny) and nice at about 1 year. Now at 16 months we have the following mastered:
Mommy, Daddy, Kitty, Puppy, Nanana (banana), Oh, Uh-Oh, Cookie, Shoe, Sock, Baby, Hi, Buh-Bye, Hello, Stitch (yes the disney monster), Yeah and the dreaded NO!
My kid is a babbling brook... But she's just starting to walk now so I guess her vocabulary makes up for her not wanting to let got of my hand
ETA: and she calls her paci her dee-doo, most likely because in my family its always been called a doo-doos (something german if I'm not mistaken) but not sure if that counts for anything.
