We have the Boppy travel swing and at first he would sit in it for about 30 mins until he would start fussing. Now, he won't even let me put him in it at all. I always hear about baby's loving their swings... maybe he's not a swing man? Or maybe its just this swing? He does love sitting in his carseat so maybe its the position? Any thoughts or recommendations are appreciated!!
Re: Reccomend your swing please
In my bag: Canon 60D, 50mm 1.4, Tamron 28-75 2.8, 430exii
we have the Graco Sweetpeace Soothing Center (https://www.diapers.com/Product/ProductDetail.aspx?productid=21020 ). It's the best swing I've found and is specially designed for colic. It swings in an arc motion to mimic a mother's rocking motion. It can do side to side, front to back, has adjustments for reclining the seat. It has play music, quiet time music, womb sounds, 6 speeds, and you can plug your Ipod into it too. The seat has toys, a swaddle blanket attached, and a canopy, and vibrates. The best part is that you can pop the seat out and put your carseat into it so they can rock in the carseat if they've fallen asleep without disturbing them. The seat can also be used on the floor as a bouncer type seat...
So with alllll of those features we were sold! We LOVE it! It will only take a Graco carseat, don't know which seat you have? HIH!

This! Atticus has a mini addiction to his!
This exactly. It is the Cadillac of swings, and the only thing that works when Maddy is having her "Midnight Maddness" and cannot be soothed and I am exhausted. Its worth the $, 100%.
But do keep in mind, some babies do not like swings! I would test it out at BRU before you buy. And the carseat thing is so great for when we've had a rough day and she falls asleep in the carseat...you just pop it right in w/o disturbing baby.
Ditto... and we can use it for number 2 no matter girl or boy... its the ONLY way i get stuff done or get a shower daily
