Finally dumped my pediatrician!

Today did it. I've been trying to get an appointment with DD's doctor and always get a doctor I HATE! This cow suggested at 9 mos my daughter may have been touched innapropriately at daycare. Who the fock says that unless you are 100% sure?!

Anyway, the office knows I do not want to see this woman, they are always offering her to me. I call monday to see my DD's regular doc they said call Wednesday morning, we don't preschedule sick visits, I made it clear I need an evening. SOOO, I call this morning and the b*tches say nope, she's busy with well visits, you can come at 2pm. I went off. I told them I would've came 2 days ago if I knew that was the case.

I'm done. I just switched to another place and called my DD's doc and told her everything. She was shocked, she said she had no idea her staff was doing that and hoped I'd reconsider. I said no.

I'm so mad.

    that sucks, and I totally understand!! At DS's old pedi he would NEVER see his doc unless he was healthy. And it seemed like it was ALWAYS a different doc every visit. It got old and annoying and nobody knew my kid.

    I switched to our new one, pay $5 more on the copay, but see the same nurse and doc EVERYTIME-unless it's emergent and he has to go in on a Tuesday (their day off). And they are open Saturday mornings. They rock.

    It was hard for me to do that too, so I know how you feel. Everytime I would leave Sam's old pedi, I would say I was never going back, but I always did.  Finally, I switched and I am so much happier with our new doctor.  I hope you love your new pedi!!

    Good for you! I hope a new place is MUCH, MUCH better.

    Can you take her to an urgent care place in the meantime just to get checked out?

    the new place is taking me tomorrow at 5:45 :)

    I think she'll be ok until then.
