now i'm sick

so... i'm hoping its just a cold. but now i feel all achy and that runny nose feels like its moving into my chest Crying it really doesn't help that my MIL (who is the only local person who watches DD for me in the daytime) left for FL this morning and won't be back till December CryingCrying

what should i take/do? (already have the humidifier going on all floors, i'm bundled, taken a shower, worked the nose/saline) 

man oh man why don't SAHMs get sick leave??? 

ETA: i laid down for a nap when DD went down and now i feel worse than when i laid down :( not a good sign right? how long does a normal cold last?
