So.. in rearranging things in the house to make it look purty for sale we moved our big oversized chair from the living room to dh's now empty office and purchased a much smaller accent chair for the living room...
The company I ordered it from sent 2 chairs... wtf?
I wasn't billed for 2... I called the company to have it shipped back and they basically said no they didn't ship 2...
LOL, so if I want them to take the chair back I have to do a full on return - like get my money back... but I'll still have 1 of the chairs...
This is hilarious! The lady was so weirded out that I was even calling
I could tell she just wanted to be like "just take the free chair and shut up"
I don't need 2 chairs! I guess it's one thing to keep the extra because they goofed... but I definitely won't do a return, get my money back, and still have a chair... that's way wrong IMO. I just can't believe this... not sure what to do...
Wondering what others would do??
ETA: just for fun, here's the chair ![]()

I voted keep and be happy because you let them know thier goof. If they dont want to correct it then it is their problem. I would just sell the extra on Craigslist to get it out of your house.
LO #1 - 1 unmedicated/self-monitored IUI w/ donor sperm.
LO #2 - 1 m/c, 2 BFNs, 4th IUI worked (unmedicated/self-monitored with new donor sperm).
Life is beautiful!
Keep the chair. You did the right thing and made them aware of the error. They're clearly not concerned by it.
A side story - something similar to this happened to friends of mine. They ordered an Amish playhouse for their kids. When it arrived, it was the really high-end playhouse instead of the standard one they ordered. Not only that, but it came completely furnished with this really cool Amish furniture. They immediately called and told them of the mistake. They were told that the error was theirs (the Amish) and that they should keep what was shipped to them and they would not be billed anything in addition to what they'd already paid!

This is what I was thinking too. You tried to make it right, they evidently don't want it back, so it's your gain!
yep, you already tried to tell them about the mistake, and it's apparently more effort for them to correct it so they don't want to.
I would keep it--in your house if you want, or if you don't have a place for it I would sell it or donate it. (Salvation Army even comes to pick up furniture in my area, and I bet they would be easier about getting it out of your house than the company is!)
