    Tums work pretty good for me or any other OTC remedy.  I hate heartburn.  I hope you feel better soon!

    I have bad acid reflex. And whenever the heart burn acts up I lay off spicy food and soda for a few days and it goes away. Also a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar does wonders :)

    I am currently eating an apple, and that has calmed it down.  I hope it stays away!

    Pepcid AC or Zantac both work well for me.

    Usually eating some bread and following it up with milk helps.  Bread first though!  Or Tums (which I can't stand).

    Apples make it worse for me.  If I don't have any Gaviscon/Tums/Rolaids with me, sucking on a mint does the trick for me.

     This is a good idea.  I'm at school, so I don't have any antacids...I may have to go buy some though.

    My mom always had us drink milk and eat a piece of bread...
