P Hates the Nutramigen

Atleast when she was puking up the soy she was a happy puking baby.

She cries and fusses with this crap and is generally not happy.  She is seemingly uncomfortable and still has the same amount of gas and hiccups (even with mylicon).

The only difference is she isn't vomiting..I know she can't vomit up everything she eats (SOY) but come on, $90/week is not worth her being uncomfortable and crying all the time.

My milk is almsot dried up and I feel bad because even though i've been pumping it's not enough & I do need to get back on meds that would require pumping & dumping.  Not to mention I just want some piece of myself back that doesn't require a pad.  She was vomiting up the bm from the bottle anyway and she won't latch for anything.  I would hate to go through alot of work to get it back up and I'd be pretty upset if her tummy was still upset with it & I had to wean back again before going back to work.

DD2(2.5): Late term premie due to PTL, low fluid & IUGR, Reflux, delayed visual maturation, compound heteroygous MTHFR, PFAPA, Bilateral kidney reflux, Transient hypogammaglobulinemia, EDS-Type 3

    Just wanted to let you know you are not alone, DS does not like it either, but he is vomiting less than before... it is so hard to see them upset. ?Hang in there and make sure you don't get too stressed out, which is easy with screaming babies?

    Are you on reflux meds too, or just the formula?  She just started arching her back with this formula, she was on soy before.

    This is all so confusing and it sucks!  I wish we would have tried a cheaper sensitive formula BEFORE this one.  Like similac sensitive or something but the pedi gave us this right away.

    Mine hated it to, but loves Similac Alimentum. Same thing; give it a try!

    I was switched to similac alimentum.. same stuff diff. brand. LO drinks it right down. I would ask your pedi.
