Visiting Chicago

Hi!  We're visiting Chicago next week and need your advise.

I've found quite a few children's museum and wondering which ones you would recommend. We have time to do about 2-3 so what's your top 3?

Chicago Children's Museum - Navy Pier

Du Page in Napervillle

Bronzeville Children's Museum

Wonder Works

Kids work Children Museum

Children's museum in Oak Lawn.

Also, any suggestions on what to do with a 2.5 years old?

We're planning on going to Navy Pier, the Aquarium, and Millenium park.

Thanks!

Re: Visiting Chicago

  • i can't compare because i havent been to most of those!  the dupage children's museum is very nice, but not huge.  i don't know where you are staying but it is about an hour away from downtown chicago -- and don't drive here during rush hour on a weekday or it will take a lot longer!  :)  good luck, have a good visit!

ETA - along with the Aquarium, i always really enjoyed the Field Museum too, they usually had pretty cool stuff for kids to see/enjoy.
