I got mine put in today and theres a little cramping but that might be because I have AF right now. nothing too bad. I am so excited I don't have to take a pill everyday
I had it before LO and had one put back in a couple weeks ago. I loved it before - no pills to take and really light periods. When I had it removed I got pregnant within 2 months. I am a huge advocate!

it was almost a year after i got it, and my body basically went into shock and I would have an AF cycle that would last months with no relief, then my hormone levels got real out of wack so I had to have it removed and it took about another year for my body to get a normal cycle back and my hormones to equal out....I'm sure that this doesn't happen to everyone but it happened to me and it was horrible.. It was great till then..
Is it expensive? Did your doc tell you that it's more for people who want to wait at least 3 years to have another baby? Thats what she told us. We only want to wait 2 years but I can not for the life of me remember to take a pill every day. I think I'll try to get it anyway and just have her remove it sooner then usual.

Mine was just the expense of an office visit copay.
My dr recommends it stays in a couple of years, but he said if I change my mind at anytime he would remove it.
Re: Mirena is awesome
How long after you got it did you start having issues? And if you don't mind, what kind of issues? Just curious!
