Did anyone have hyperemesis with 1st pregnancy?

If so, are you nervous you'll have it again when #2 comes along?

If you are pregnant, do you have the same symptoms?

    i'm terrified i'll have it again. i have no clue how i'll take care of a child w/it. i keep holding on to people telling me that every pregnancy is different.

    Had it and I too am very, very frightened at the idea of possibly having it again.

    I am absolutely terrified of having it now only b/c I have a todder to deal with. the hyperemesis drained me. I was constantly in the bathroom and feeling dizzy. It was a nightmare. Im so nervous it will happen again with #2. but then again, my dh was very supportive and helped me get through it. it will be hard now with the ds running around.

    I've had it with all 3 pregnancies. It was worse with my girls that my son. I felt like a pretty crappy mom those first few months of pregnancy b/c I pretty much just lied around all the time. It's a miserable feeling. But luckily once the 2nd trimester hits, it fades away for me.

    Natesmom- Nooooo! You can't say it you had it for all three! :)

    Maybe mine will melt away at the 2nd tri- I had it for 9 straight terrible months this last time!

    I had it bad last time and I have it even worse this time.  My mom was here for 6 weeks helping with ds and before that my MIL was here for 3 weeks helping.  I was in the hospital this time and last.  This time I had an IV in my home 24/7 for 4 weeks and I was miserable.  I couldn't do anything and I felt terrible.  I'm still dealing with it, but it has gotten better.  Since I don't have anyone here helping anymore the days are long, but I'm getting by.  I won't be having anymore kids after this though. I just can't do it.
