I was up all night last night because of heartburn. My first time having it and boy I got it bad. I am reading up on everything I can and can't eat and take but does anyone have any suggestions based on personal experience? I have no clue what I can eat for lunch....I am so confused.
I just had a banana....and have heartburn again. Help!
Re: Every single thing I eat gives me heartburn.
Milk used to help me before I got on Nexium. Bland foods are the ones that affect my acid reflux the least. Anything spicy, citrusy, or tomatoey will make it worse.
Orange juice is out of the question for me and chocolate makes it worse too. But I just can't give up chocolate and candy. I am a sweetaholic.
Yeah, milk appeals to me right now but something I read says it can exacerbate the problem. It apparently makes you feel better in the moment but is a short-term solution. Frustrating.
Okay--bland food. And that explains why I got it so bad last night--I had a ton of OJ and chocolate last night.
