Q: How much does your 3 mo old eat?

I feel silly calling the pediatrician and asking her this....so just thought I'd ask my fellow bumpies!! She's been pretty fussy lately and don't know if she's still hungry or not. She has about 5oz every 3-4 hours. Sometimes she doesn't even eat all of the 5 and don't know if I should just keep her at that or not.

    Of course I'm never sure when I'm BFing, but I know that 4 1/2 oz bottles seem to be right for him for daycare, and he's been sticking to a 2 1/2 hour schedule (give or take 1/2 hour either way) since starting last week.
    Um, yeah. The Bump be too crazy for pics of my kid.

    L eats during hte day between 2-3 hours and 4-5 ozs, I would LOVE to up her oz to get her more time in between feedings, but she will spit up like crazy if I do... you sound just about right!

    DS is almost 3 months and is now averaging 5 oz every 3.5-5 hours (a little longer at night), sometimes he eats as much as 7.5 oz. He was averaging 4 oz last week and was occasionally eating 5-6 oz. I think your DS is probably right on track, so long as she is gaining weight she should be fine.

    our LO has been at 5oz since he was 1 month and I just increased to 6oz the other day but he doesn't always take it all...sounds like you're right on track.
