How Much Milk?

How much milk does your 13 month old  or so drink?  My DS will not take milk in a bottle...only formula.  He also wont take formula in a cup..only milk.  I have cut out formula except for his nightly bottle (4 oz.) so he basically only gets a bottle at night. Otherwise he drinks water from a cup as well as his milk.  He is now a good water drinker so I suspect the milk will come with time.  However, I worry about his Vit. D.  He gets maybe 4 oz. of milk a day (that is probably what he drinks with me offering it at meals and snacks.)  Since we have dropped the formula he eats a ton too!  I give him a 4 oz. yogurt for breakfast and am thinking about doing one at lunch too.  How much milk is your LO getting?  I see the pedi tomorrow and will ask if I should be concerned.  He is not on a multi-vit either.

    I thought that they were supposed to get between 18-20 oz a day.  DS drinks this, maybe more, plus he gets the multivitamin drops in his nightly milk cup.  I'm thinking your LO needs more and its a good thing that you see the pedi tomorrow to calm your concerns.

    Our pedi said 24 oz a day.  DD usually gets at least 20, with yogurt or cheese every day.

    At 13 months, we were just about off bottles completely and onto three sippys of milk a day, each about 7 to 8 oz. One in the morning, one before nap and one before bed.

      How did you get your LO to drink this much milk?  My DS will not do it and as I said he also only takes milk from a cup and only formula from a bottle!

    this is how we are except we are still using bottles.

    Pedi told us 16 oz whole milk
