lol! I just answered this in another post.

It broke at home just after I got into bed. It was 2am

and no I didn't ruin my bed. I felt a pop and then waited until I had another contraction when I felt a small trickle down my leg. I stood up to walk to the bathroom and it came gushing out as I walked into the bathroom.

It was 10:20 pm, I was sitting on a birth ball, folding laundry for work the next day! I was 37 wks. Contractions didn't start for 4 hours. I felt the "pop" too!

I had a homebirth, but yeah, I was at home when my water broke. I was bending over the bed at 2 am, having a really intense contraction when I felt a "pop" and felt fluid leaking out of me.

My water broke at 8 p.m. (ish) while I was at the movies. It was a slow leak, so it wasn't embarassing.

7:45AM at the hospital with a pop and then a gush, followed by intense contrations until LO was born at 10:41. I'd been in labour since 4:00 that morning.

My contractions started around 4:15am and some friends stopped by at 9:30am to see how I was doing. My water broke right around then, but I thought I had peed myself, so I was embarrassed and didn't say anything. I hurried them out the door, went to the bathroom and realized that my water had broken.

515am. I was at work! But I work as a nurse in maternity at the hospital I was planning to deliver at so I was happy! Contractions started about 15 min later. I was shocked! It was at 38w 2d, she was born 21 hrs later!

I was in bed talking on the phone to DH (who was just upstairs, btw, but I was too lazy to get out of bed and needed to ask him something) he said something funny, I laughed, water broke.

I hadn't felt very good all day and had back pain around my kidney but I felt better after dinner. Around 7 p.m., after I gave my son his bath, I got down on the floor to play with him and I felt a small gush. At first, I thought it was pee b/c it really felt like I had pee'd but then DH and I investigated and realized it was clear and did not have an oder (sorry, TMI). Sure enough, contractions were about every 3-4 minutes after that but I still ended up having a c-section b/c I did not progress much after that. I was 38w2d.
