Hey mamas!  I hope that you had a great weekend!  What did you do?  I noticed that a lot of us are starting to do our classes... what do you think of them?

QOTD: What are you using for a diaper bag?

Me:  I am thinking about getting a Skip Hop.  I need something in between the Petunia Pickle Bottom one that I got as a gift with DS and the extra small Tibuktu that I use with him now!  I love the PPB, but it is really big and something to be used if I am gonna be gone all day!

    What are you using for a diaper bag?

    Whatever i get from my next shower...and if i get nothing, it will be the least expensive most practical bag i can find at Target that my dh won't mind carrying either.

    I saw one I liked at Carters, but wasn't looking into buying one yet. Then the next day saw the exact same one at walmart. For half the price. So I went ahead and got it. Not sure if it's Carters brand, or what, but it's brown w/ green stripes. I figured it's not too girly for DH to carry around too when he's got the baby.

    When I was pg with my 18m.o.  DH bought me the Petunia Picklebottom boxy backpack for Xmas (2 years ago). I still use it, and will continue to for this one. I'll have to wait and see if I need more than that for the two kids.

    I had a great weekend! Started Christmas shopping and decorating. I know I am early, but I would rather get a jump on things b/c it seems to take me a bit longer to get things done these days. Between my belly getting in the way and my constant need for a nap! QOTD: I actually just registered for a graco diaper bag that I thought the pattern would work for both me and DH. I figured that I would use that until I knew what I thought I would need and buy one then. It was only like $30, and I think it was already purchased from my registry. For now it will do! But, I hadn't put much thought into it.

    Our classes are going well, last ones is this Wednesday.  We are learning some but knew some stuff by reading out books.  I like it mainly to find out our Hospitals policy on things and what they do specifically.

    This one is mine.  I like it because it opens VERY wide and looks like a purse that I would carry.

    I like everything being in its own place. I would probably use this kit, because my bag doesn't have all that many pockets.

    I'll probably just use the same bag I bought for DD.  It's a custom Anna Street (local to boston handbag company).  I picked out all the fabric and trim, and I love it!  I just ordered a new wallet from them too, so I can just throw that in the diaper bag.
    I don't know what's up with my siggy and I am too lazy to figure it out.

    a gorgeous (i'm sure) handmade quilted bag.  my dad has some cousin's that make them.   my dd has one that is yellow and i hinted that this baby would need a new one for it's own.   my mom already has it at her home as well as a blanket that these wonderfully talented ladies made.   i can't wait.

    it was so fun to have a colorful fun bag that no one else had!!  yellow with animals and washable!!!

    Hi Ladies! We had 2 out of 3 showers this past weekend & they went great. Tonight is our first baby class too, so it's an exciting few days! QOTD: We registered for a diaper bag at BRU, don't remember exactly which one it was but it had a decent amount of pockets/seemed practical & wasn't too expensive. I don't spend more than $20 on a purse, so I didn't want to spend a lot on a diaper bag either.

    Hey there ladies! I haven't posted regularly since the early in the first tri...but now as I get closer to the bid day I'm getting nervous and excited! Lurking more and more!

    We got it at BRU and my hubby loves it. Good for us since he will be using it half of the time (both work full time).

    I will also be getting a Skip Hop! I am thinking about putting it on my bday (12/17) and Christmas lists.

    I think I have decided on the Skip Hop Studio bag - my friend has it and loves it. I thought it might be too "girly" for DH but he says he doesn't care.

    We took our birth class last weekend.  It was a 7-hour marathon class.  I thought it was informative, DH thought it was a little too long.  As for a diaper bag, we just had our second (and last) shower this weekend and I did not receive a diaper bag.  So I guess at some point I will have to go buy one!

    We are all done with our classes already and I found them to be very imformative- DH I think felt that some of the info was a little to much for him but I found it useful.

    QOTD: I got a diaper bag a few months back that was on clearence at the Carter's outlit- it is very basic black and green- there is 3 different sized bags so there will be plenty to choose from!!

    We have a Skip Hop Duo Double Deluxe. It's big, but it's great for DS and DD...and we'll soon have 3 under 2 1/2. The more pockets, the better!

    I am in the hospital as my water broke Sat. am. Now I feel like I will be really behind with baby stuff as I won't be going home until after the baby is born. We were supposed to start our classes last night but that is not going to happen now. As for a diaper bag I think my DH will have to pick one out.
