Any body else have this? Possibly TMI

So I woke up this am to really having to go number 2 I went and looked in toilet and saw bright red blood in the water..not a lot and when I wiped. (it was not hemeroids either it was from the va jay jay) I freaked because I didnt know about the bright red part of it. I called L&D she said it is probably my cervix dilating (so far I have not dilated) and the capillaries breaking that makes the bright red blood. She said it sounds like labor is trying to start. I have no contractions however, not one. About an hour after the bright red blood I started getting a brownish discharge and its still coming but not much and not everytime I use the bathroom. Did anyone else have this happen to them and people are telling me Ill have her in the next few days, but i hate to get my hopes up since Im not contracting. Im overdue by the way..

Sounds like you're having your bloody show. I haven't had it yet but my dr said to expect it and not to freak out if it happens

I have no idea, but that sounds like "bloody show" from what I've read in the pregnancy books.

I'd go into the doctors office

I had my little boy within 48 hours of that happening... we called the doctor the night it happened and they sent us to L&D to get checked out, the doctor also stripped my membranes... i was only 1.5 cm with no contractions so they sent us home. the next night, same thing happened and it turned into labor and a baby the next morning!
