I guess this is why tummy time should be supervised

We have an open floor plan between our living room and kitchen. Well DS was on his tummy time mat playing with these cute little dangling animals, having an awesome time. So I went into the kitchen to fix him a bottle of EM. Well about 5 minues in I hear screaming. He had pushed himself over his boppy and was laying on his face. I didn't know a 3 week old could push themself over the boppy! WTH! Some days I wish he would act his age!

I was able to watch him from the kitchen, but I guess he must have pushed a few times really well and *tah dah!* face plant.

Poor baby! no marks or scratches, and seemed totally fine the second I picked him up.

    I'm convinced this is why babies have small noses!  I'm sure DS would have broken his nose a few times during tummy time.  He's a pro at face-planting.

    When my DS gets tired of tummy time, he'll flip himself from his tummy to his back!  He started doing that a week ago.  Crazy boy!

    About a week ago I placed DD on a memory foam pillow (the one with the indentation in the middle) so I can quickly let our dog out.  As I turned around after letting dog out I watched as she rolled herself off the pillow and face planted on the couch!  Good thing I thought to place the pillow in the corner so it was couch, and not floor, she face planted onto!
